We found Jenny in a book published in 1875 written by Frank Buckland. He claimed that not only did Jenny walk around with a pipe in her mouth, like all monkeys, but that she actually inhaled and drank grog. Looks to me a bit like Opium and Absinthe may have been on the menu.
