Known as "The Patriotic American Farmer", founding father John Dickinson was also known as “Penman of the American Revolution”. Most of the major petitions and State papers, before the Revolution, were authored by Dickinson. He infamously spoke out against taxation by the British Empire! We honor Dickinson by printing this image from 1768 that features Dickinson's "thoughts" on taxation. A man after my own heart!
